Staff Module

Accessing the Staff Module 

  1. Log into the Koolay Console with your credentials. 


  1. Click on the “Staff” link on the left side of your toolbar. 


  1. Navigate to the Staff section for managing and editing staff members. 

Viewing the Staff Member List 

  1. Navigate to the toolbar located on the left side of the interface.

  2. Click on the “Staff” link within the toolbar and select the “Staff Member List” option.



  3. Review the list of staff members available within the system. 

Editing a Staff Member 

  1. Locate the toolbar on the left side of the interface.

  2. Click on the “Staff” link and select the “Staff Member List” option.

  3. Click on the name of the “Staff” and then edit the information you wish. 



  4. Additional tabs are available that include optional sections such as address, communications, and member groups. Please click on these tabs and complete the fields that are relevant to you.

Sorting Staff Members 

  1. Navigate to the toolbar on the left side of the interface.

  2. Click on the “Staff” link and choose the “Staff Member Sort” option.

  3. Use the “Filter” button to refine the list based on selected criteria. 


Adding a New Staff Member 

  1. Click on the “Staff” link, then proceed to select “New Staff”.



  2. Fill out the required form fields, including title, personal information, and other necessary details.



  3. Additional tabs are available that include optional sections such as address, communications, and member groups. Please click on these tabs and complete the fields that are relevant to you.

  4. Selecting the Administrator Group and Member Group on the form is crucial.      



  5. Ensure to save your changes by selecting the “Save” option. 

Managing Staff Types

  1. Click on the “Staff” link, then select “Staff Type List.



  2. To create a new staff type, click on “New,” enter the name of the new staff type, and then click the “Save” button to confirm. 

 

New Staff

 

  1. Login to the Koolay Console with your credentials. 

  1. Access the left-side toolbar. 

  1. Select “New Staff” from the “Staff” link options. 

  1. Schools can register: 

    1. Teachers

    2. Administrators 
    3. Technical staff 
    4. Define them under the appropriate staff type 
  1. Municipalities, government offices, and organizations can update: 

    1. Staff for organizational charts 

    2. Share addresses, phone numbers, and emails on their websites 

 

Indicating that a page is a Staff list

 

     1. Open the "Category" tab in the left menu.

     2. Open the "Categorry List" page.

     3. Find the staff page in the category list on the right and click on it.

     4. Find the "Menu Type" setting in the "Basic Information" section.

     5. Mark this setting as "Module".

     6. Select "Staff Listing" from the "Module List" section just below.

     7. Finally press the "Update" button.
